The San Angelo Central Bobcats defeated Lubbock Monterey 50-14 in Midland on Friday to clinch the Class 6A Division II Area Championship. The San Angelo Central Bobcats defeated the Permian Panthers 39-21 Friday night, at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa. With the victory, came the outright 3-6A District Championship.
