Multiple Teams · Big Spring Championship

This past weekend the Lady Cats and the Bobcats competed in the Big Spring Championship. It was an excited weekend that lead to the Bobcats winning the tournament three years in a row and the Lady Cats winning in Big Springs by 21 strokes!

​The Lady Cats took 1st place this weekend with a huge win in Big Spring Texas. The Lady Cats won by 21 strokes overall and Sierrah Ramierz took first place individually with a total of 156. In Second Place individually was Taylor Boyce with a 166 and finally Taylor Gonzales Tied for 3rd place and was forced into a playoff where she lost by one stroke. Olivia Tobias scored a 190 and had a lot of great shots to help the team win and Freshman Hallie Walker played great and scored a person best of 230 over the two day tournament! The Lady Cats Golfers head to Snyder this week to go back-to-back champions!​

The Bobcat Golf team also won first place this weekend in Big Spring. For the first time in twenty years the  Bobcat Golf team broke 300 at a tournament and had a great showing to this season. Jeff Maciejewski scored a 144 and for the second weekend in a row was forced into a playoff in which he won and got second place individually. In third place individually was Freshman Jansen Smith with a 144. Daniel Madrid had a 152 and shot a personal best of 72 on Saturday. Trey Corder shot a 163 and has been apart of all the teams success with this 3rd win in three years in Big Spring. Braxton Braden scored a 158 and continues to help the Bobcats.

This week the boys head to Midland to compete against a lot of  our District opponents and will be a good test for District.

Coach Parker and Coach Gaestel are super proud of the both teams and look forward to this season
